Ranchi, Feb 17: The Jharkhand High Court today extended the order of ‘no coercive steps’ against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi till further order in a matter involving Gandhi’s derogatory remarks against Amit Shah in a congress party session in 2018.

Gandhi had said that no murderer can become the national president in Congress. Congressmen cannot accept a murderer as the national president and this is possible only in BJP.

A BJP worker Naveen Jha filed a complaint in the matter before Ranchi Civil Court. On which, the court took cognizance and sent notice to Gandhi. Gandhi filed a petition in the High Court to quash the notice.

The high court while directing for no coercive action asked Jha and Gandhi to file a written argument in the matter and deferred the hearing till March 17.
