Jharkhand IAS reshuffle: Rahul Purwar is higher education secretary; Avinash Kumar becomes Energy Secy

Ranchi, Aug 18: Women, Child Development and Social Security Principal Secretary Avinash Kumar, who was additionally in-charge of Energy Department, has now been made Principal Secretary of Energy Department, as per an official order.

 

The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha in a notification on Thursday informed that Kumar will continue to be in additional charge of Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited as its CMD and Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited as its MD.

 

Rahul Kumar Purwar, who has been waiting to be posted, has been made Secretary of the Department of Higher and Technical Education.

 

Kripa Nand Jha, Secretary of the Department of Information Technology and e-Governance, will now be Secretary of Women, Child Development and Social Security. He will continue to look after the IT department as an additional responsibility.

 

Waiting for posting Chandrashekhar has been made Special Secretary of Department of Home, Jail and Disaster Management. Tribal Welfare Commissioner Mukesh Kumar will have the additional responsibility of Vice Chairman of Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA).

 

Jharkhand Tourism Director Anjali Yadav, who has the additional responsibility of Examination Controller of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, will also be MD of Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation in addition.

 

In another notification, the personnel department said that Joint Director-cum-Joint Secretary of State Development Council Satish Chandra Choudhary, who had the additional charge of Additional Secretary of Department of Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs, has been transferred as Additional Secretary of the same.

 

He will continue to be Director-cum-Additional Secretary of the State Development Council in additional charge.
