Ranchi, Feb 22: Jharkhand’s Drinking water and sanitation department (DWSD) minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur today met Union Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi and apprised him about the problem of the graveyard lying in bypass road construction in Achala village of Garhwa assembly constituency.
The union minister heard the problem and instructed the departmental officials to sort out the issue taking proper information about the ground reality of the situation.
Those accompanying Thakur during the meeting included Madani Khan, Siraj Ahmed and Javed Ali Ansari.
Thakur took the step after his letters to National Highway Authorities of India officials failed to yield results and people of the constituency intended to get some proper solution to mount pressure to take proper initiative in this direction.
