Jharkhand: Police officials asked to take precautions against virus

Ranchi, Jan.4: In the wake of the third wave of corona pandemic, police across the state have been directed to take personal care apart from playing their role in maintenance of law and order.

 

They have been asked to take precaution in case they find any symptom of Covid-19. They have been asked to maintain social distance while avoiding mixing with other policemen in case they are suffering from cough and cold.

 

Apart from this, they have also been asked to get tested to start further medication in case they find their cough lasting for a long time and feeling feverish.

 

S.P.(rural) of Ranchi Naushad Alam confirmed the directives saying policemen on duty have been asked to ensure optimum use of masks and sanitizers and follow all Covid-19 guidelines circulated by the state government.

 

As many as 44 policemen across the state are suffering from Covid-19 with the beginning of the third wave.
