Ranchi: The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has announced that Jharkhand’s e-Hospital services will remain unavailable for 12 hours today, November 6, 2025, starting from 3 PM. The disruption is due to the scheduled NextGen e-Hospital system upgrade being carried out by NIC’s technical team from New Delhi.

Online Medical Services Temporarily Affected

During this maintenance period, all online hospital operations linked to the e-Hospital system — including patient registration, OPD appointments, report uploads, and related services — will be temporarily halted across all government hospitals in the state.

Manual Operations to Ensure Patient Convenience

Once the system upgrade is completed, services will be restored to normal. The Jharkhand Health Department has instructed all hospitals to manage essential patient services manually during this downtime to ensure that no patient faces inconvenience.

About NextGen e-Hospital System

The NextGen e-Hospital system, managed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), plays a vital role in the digital administration and record management of government hospitals across India. The upgrade aims to enhance performance, security, and reliability of healthcare data services in Jharkhand.
