Ranchi: Jharkhand’s largest Radha Krishna temple, located at Pundag near Kathal Mor in Ranchi, is set to be inaugurated on January 5 at 10 am. Built by the Shri Krishna Pranami Seva Trust, the inauguration will take place under the leadership of the trust’s founder and patron, Sant Shiromani Dr. Swami Sadanand Ji Maharaj, along with Param Pujya Mohan Priya Charya Ji Maharaj, in the presence of 20 eminent saints.
Grand Inaugural Ceremony
The temple complex will echo with sacred chants from the 20 saints and devotees are expected to gather in large numbers to witness the ceremony and offer prayers. Following the inauguration, a four-day Shrimad Bhagwat Krishna Katha and Vani Charcha will be held daily from 2 pm to 5 pm, establishing a new center of faith and devotion in Jharkhand.
Architectural Highlights
The temple, constructed on 30 decimals of land, spans a built-up area of 3,500 square feet, with dimensions of 40 feet in height and 80 feet in length. Crafted from Rajasthan’s exquisite marble, the temple features a grand statue of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhan Parvat at its main entrance. Additionally, devotees will experience beautifully crafted depictions of Krishna’s life from his birth to the Mahabharata era, including enchanting glimpses of his divine Raas Leela with the Gopis.
