JIMACON 2022: 53-member committee to monitor Jharkhand IMA’s  mega event on March 6

Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Health Minister Banna Gupta have been also invited for this mega event of state doctors

Dhanbad,  Mar 4: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Jharkhand chapter has formed 10 committees under senior doctors of state for execution of annual conference JIMACON-2022 to be held in Ranchi on March 6.

In 22 years of state formation, this is the first time when IMA National President Dr. Shajanand Prasad Singh, Secretary-General Dr Jayes Lele, World Health Association’s Dr. Ravi Wankhedkar, former national president Dr J Jayalal will attend the conference of Jharkhand IMA.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Health Minister Banna Gupta have been also invited for this mega event of state doctors.

IMA Jharkhand President Dr AK Singh and Secretary Dr Pradip Kumar Singh today said that this is the first time when eminent doctors from across the country and national office bearers will attend the conference. 10 committees under senior doctors of the state have been formed to make this mega event memorial.

“In the conference, we would shed light on the Clinical Establishment Act, Medical Protection Act and other problems of doctors in the interest of Jharkhand health services,” said Dr AK Singh and Dr Pradip Kumar Singh.

Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, Dr Majid Alam, Dr Shobha Chakraborty, Dr HP Narayan and Dr Sidharth Mukherjee have been made patrons of the organizing committee.

Organising Committee– Ranchi IMA president Dr Shambhu Prasad Singh will head the organizing committee as chairman. Dr Amit Mohan (co-chairman), Dr Bimlesh Singh (secretary), Dr Sanjay Jaiswal (joint secretary), Dr Sunil Kumar, Dr Syed Hedayetullah, Dr Ramesh Prasad and Dr Ajit Kumar are other members.

Reception committee- Dr RS Das of Ranchi has been made chairman of the reception committee while Dr GD Banerjee and Dr Sudhir Kumar are co-chairman and convener respectively.

Steering Committee– Former director-in-chief of health Dr Sumant Mishra has been made chairman of steering committee while state IMA women’s wing president Dr Bharti Kashyap is co-chairman, Dr Rajesh Kumar is the convener.

Finance committee– State IMA finance secretary Dr BP Kashyap has been made chairman of while Dr Deconsh Xess (co-chairman) Dr Jay Shankar (convener), Dr Shantavana Sharan (Ramgarh), Dr Kiran Kumari are members.

Science committee– Dr JK Mitra (chairman), Dr SK Pal, Dr  Anant Sinha are members.

Souvenir committee- Dr Chandrashekhar (chairman), Dr Mukesh Kumar (co-chairman), Dr Sanjay Kumar (convener).

Cultural committee– Dr RC Jha (chairman), Dr Beaty Banerjee (co-chairman), Dr Nish Priya (convener).

Hospitality committee-  Dr Ritesh Ranjan (chairman), Dr Beauty Banerjee, Dr Thakur M Singh, Dr Anupma Singh, Dr Rajesh Kumar, Dr Ajit Kumar, Dr Kumar Ashutosh, Dr Rashmi Prasad, Dr Pradeep Prasad.

Food committee- Dr S Prasad (chairman), Dr Pankaj Kumar (co-chairman), Dr AK Jha and Dr Stephon Xess (convener).
