J&K: Cop shot dead by terrorists at home in Pulwama

Pulwama, June 18: Terrorists shot and killed a police officer,  Sub-Inspector Farooq Ahmad Mir, inside his residence in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama area on Saturday.

According to the information, the cop was attacked in Samboora in the Pampore area on the night of Friday and Saturday.

Mir was assigned to the IRP 23rd Battalion at CTC Lethpora, according to officials.

Preliminary investigation reveals that he had left his home for work in his paddy fields last evening, where he was shot dead by terrorists using a pistol, as per the Kashmir Zone Police.
