Pulwama, March 10: Security personnel and militants clashed in Naina Batpora area of the Pulwama area of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, according to authorities.
Security personnel conducted a cordon and search operation in the Naina Batpora area of the south Kashmir district after receiving specific information regarding the presence of terrorists, according to a police official.
After the terrorists shot upon the soldiers, who replied, the search operation turned into an encounter.
