Srinagar, Aug 26: Senior Congress Leader and Former Minister RS Chib resigned from Primary membership of Congress soon after the resignation of Ghulam Nabi Azad. Five more prominent Jammu and Kashmir leaders have left the Congress, joining Ghulam Nabi Azad in doing so and voicing their dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership, dealing a second blow to the party.

In support of Ghulam Nabi Azad, the G-23 leader’s supporters GM Saroori, Haji Abdul Rashid, Mohd Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, and Choudhary Mohd Akram resigned from Congress’ primary membership.
