Jammu and Kashmir, Jan 23: A day after the twin blast occurred in the industrial area in Narwal, an aircraft-shaped balloon with ‘PIA’ written on it has been recovered by J&K police in the Khour area on Sunday.
“A balloon with PIA written on it was found in the Khour area of Jammu,” said the police.

Earlier in November, two similar balloons were recovered from Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba.
Notably, on Saturday morning, twin blasts occurred in Jammu’s industrial area- Narwal, wherein nine people were injured.

On Sunday, the Army Dog unit along with the Bomb Squad and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team investigated the site. The team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) also reached Jammu to investigate the site of the twin explosions.
Moreover, LG Manoj Sinha also announced a relief of Rs 50,000 to those injured in the incident. The Lt Governor said that the administration will ensure the best possible treatment and provide families with all the support they need.
