Shopian, Feb 19: One terrorist was killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian area today.
After obtaining information about the presence of terrorists in the Zainpora region, security personnel initiated an anti-terror operation there early this morning.
According to a police official, the concealed militants opened fire on the forces while they were conducting searches in the area.
According to the official, the military replied, resulting in an encounter in which a terrorist was killed.
