Shopian, Oct 18: In the Herman area of the Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists threw a grenade at non-locals, killing two labourers from Uttar Pradesh, according to the police.

Manish Kumar and Ram Sagar have been named as the non-local workers. Both fatalities are citizens of Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj district.

The terrorist has been taken into custody, and the resistance front (TRF) has taken credit for the incident. While they were sound asleep in a tin shed, terrorists attacked Manish Kumar and Ram Sagar.

A hand grenade was thrown inside the tin shed while up to five labourers were sleeping there.

“Hybrid terrorist of proscribed terror outfit LeT Imran Bashir Ganie of Harmen Shopian who lobbed grenade arrested by Shopian police. Further investigation and raids are going on, said ADGP Kashmir in a Tweet.”
