Ranchi, Feb 17: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) on Thursday released the revised results for the 7th to 10th Jharkhand Combined Civil Services PT Exam that was held on September 19 2021. As per the results, a total of 4885 candidates have been declared successful.

Candidates may check the results by visiting the official website of JPSC, www.jpsc.gov.in. They may look for a link on the homepage which says ‘Revised Combined Civil Services PT Examination Result’. Upon clicking it, a new page will open as soon as results are displayed in PDF format. Candidates may check their result from this list and if they want, can take a print out of it for future use.

The JPSC Pre Exam Result has been released category wise. The shortlisted candidates from each category include 244 of BC category, 401 of EBC category, 305 of EWS category, 389 of SC category, 1057 of ST category, and 1897 of the UNR category. Only those candidates who will clear this round will be able to appear in the Mains exam. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website from time to time for updates on Mains Exam and JPSC Result 2021.

Notably, a petition was filed in the Jharkhand High Court on behalf of the applicant, Kumar Soni Memon, challenging the results of 7th to 10th JPSC PT. The applicant had alleged that Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) had provided the benefit of reservation in PT (Prelims). This, however, is against the rules. There is no provision to give the reservation benefits in PT (Prelims). Therefore, the writ stated that the old results be repealed. The matter was heard in the High Court after which permission was requested from the High Court to issue the revised results on behalf of JPSC.
