Ranchi, March 4:The result of 637 Civil Assistant Engineer Recruitment Main Examination will be released by the JPSC by the second week of June (2022), while the interview will be held in the first week of July. The main examination for the appointment was held from October 22 to 24, 2021.
Notably, after the release of revised model answers by the commission on December 17, 2021, the candidates were upset due to the results not being declared. Several candidates had also talked to the JPSC chairman regarding the same. The chairman had then assured that he would release information regarding the results through the website.
Meanwhile, a total of 5548 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination in the appointment examination since the year 2019. Of these, 4556 candidates are for civil engineering and 992 for mechanical engineering. The Commission has decided to give full marks for 10 questions i.e. two marks per question to the candidates in the final revised model answer in cases where two options of a question have been found correct.
In case of Paper I and Paper II of Mechanical Engineering, full marks are awarded in case all the options are wrong of eight questions in Paper I and two questions in Paper II.
