JSSC takes out 986 intermediate level vacancies, last date to apply June 19

Ranchi, May 2: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has invited applications for the Jharkhand Intermediate Standard (Computer Knowledge and Hindi Typing) Common Competitive Examination (JIS (CKHT) CCE – 2022).

The notification is for both regular and backlog vacancies on a total of 986 vacancies including posts like subordinate clerk, clerk, stenographer, personal assistant, etc in the transport department among others.

Candidates may submit application forms from May 20 till midnight on June 19, 2022, by visiting the committee’s website www.jssc.nic.in. The link to pay the examination fees and to take out a printout of the submitted form will be available till midnight on June 22, while the last date for uploading the photograph and signature is also June 22.

Candidates may ask for rectification in the application from June 26 to midnight of June 30.

The 986 vacancies have been divided into unreserved, SC, ST, BC I, BC II and EWS over various posts. Notably, it will be mandatory for the candidates to possess the minimum educational qualification mentioned. That is, for the determination of educational qualification, the last date of submission of the application will be considered as the base date. If any candidate does not possess the prescribed educational qualification by this date, they will be treated as ineligible to fill the application.

In addition to the above essential qualifications, it will be mandatory for the candidates to have passed Matriculation / 10th class and Intermediate / 10+2 class from a recognized educational institution located in the state of Jharkhand and it will be mandatory for the candidate to have knowledge of local customs, language and environment.

Provided that in the case of candidates covered by the reservation policy of Jharkhand State, the provision regarding the passing of Matriculation/10th class and Intermediate/10+2 from a recognized educational institution located in the State of Jharkhand will be relaxed.

Age limit and other detailed information can be checked at the commission’s website along with other information about salary bracket and criteria for cancellation of an application.
