Dhanbad, Sept 19: In the wake of the proposed agitation and demonstration by the Kurmi Samaj tomorrow on the track between the Gomoh and Parasnath rail section of the Dhanbad Rail Division, the East Central Railway (ECR) zone has cancelled the movement of 20 trains and diverted the route of 47 others.
The Kurmi Samaj, demanding the inclusion of Kurmis in the Schedule Tribes category, has announced a ‘Rail Roko’ stir from September 20 at Gomoh railway station under the Dhanbad railway division.
A senior official of the Dhanbad Rail Division today said that keeping the agitation in mind, short-period movement of trains has been cancelled.
The trains that have been cancelled on September 20 are—-

The official said besides the cancellation of 20 trains, the movement of 47 other trains has been changed in the division due to the proposed agitation.
