Leh, June 18: The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported on Sunday that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred 279 kilometres northeast of the Leh district of Ladakh.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometres at 8:28 am.

There have not yet been any recorded fatalities or injuries. More information is still awaited, though.
In Leh, Ladakh, there have been three earthquakes in the past 24 hours.
A 4.1-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale occurred in the early hours of Sunday 295 kilometres northeast of the Leh district of Ladakh.
