President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other prominent leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Giriraj Singh, Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, Priyanka Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, and Akhilesh Yadav expressed grief over the untimely demise of Ajit Pawar. PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi described the loss as a deep blow to Maharashtra’s political world.

Baramati MP and his sister Supriya Sule, along with senior NCP leader Sharad Pawar, have left for Baramati. CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis also announced their departure to the crash site.

Crash Details and Aftermath

Ajit Pawar was travelling from Mumbai to Baramati for campaigning related to the district council and panchayat elections. Sources indicate that the private aircraft lost control during landing, leading to a catastrophic crash. The impact caused an explosion in the fuel tank, engulfing the plane in flames.
