LTT-Jaynagar Express derails near Nashik, relief team rushed to spot

New Delhi, April 3: On the down line between Lahavit and Devlali in Nashik, Maharashtra, ten coaches of the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Jaynagar Antyodaya Express (11061) derailed. According to news agency ANI, the accident happened about 3.10 p.m. So yet, no fatalities have been confirmed, and just a minor injury has been reported.

According to the central railway CPRO, an accident relief train and a medical van have gone to the scene.

At the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus station, the railways have established a helpline: 55993; MTNL:02222694040; public helpline: 0253-2465816. Meanwhile, the railways have cancelled or redirected many trains on the route due to the disaster, according to the CPRO. Further details are awaited.
