Mumbai, March 12: Snehlata Dixit, the mother of Madhuri Dixit, passed away at 90 years. The cremation will take place at 3:40 pm today at Vaikunth Dham in Mumbai.
“Feel sad to inform that Snehlata Dixit, mother of Madhuri Dixit Nene, passed away this morning at 8:40 am. God bless her soul, rest in peace,” a statement released by Madhuri and her husband-doctor Sriram Nene reads.
Madhuri has written a touching letter for her mother’s birthday in June 2022. In 2013, Snehlata and Madhuri worked together on the movie Gulab Gang.
Further information regarding the cause of her death is awaited.
