Ahmedabad, Aug 22: Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, stated on Monday that Manish Sisodia, who has improved the educational standards in Delhi schools, should receive the Bharat Ratna, but is being pursued by the Central government for political reasons.
On his fifth visit to Gujarat in a month leading up to the election, Kejriwal declared, ‘The New York Times has praised our education model.’
According to Kejriwal, Sisodia is being targeted rather than being praised. Kejriwal also expressed concern over the potential impending arrest of Sisodia.
“Manish Sisodia may be arrested; who knows I may also be arrested. All this is being done in view of Gujarat Assembly elections,” he said.
He (Manish Sisodia) reformed govt schools which other parties could not do in 70 years. Such a person should get Bharat Ratna. According to Kejriwal, the people of Gujarat are depressed and have been subjected to the BJP government’s smugness for the past 27 years. In the event that his Aam Aadmi Party wins the state election, he guaranteed the Gujarati people access to high-quality healthcare and education.
