Patna: RJD leader and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti launched a sharp attack on the NDA’s promise of one crore government jobs, questioning the credibility and financial feasibility of the proposal. The remark came a day after the NDA released its manifesto for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, which pledged large-scale employment generation across the state.
‘Where Will They Bring The Money From?’
Speaking to the media, Misa Bharti mocked the BJP and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying, “Where will they give jobs from? From where will they get the money? Kiske baap ke ghar se layenge?” She accused the NDA of making hollow promises ahead of elections without presenting a practical plan for implementation.
Bharti recalled that when the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan government had promised 10 lakh jobs, Nitish Kumar had dismissed it as “impossible.” “But we proved it by providing jobs to 10 lakh people. Nitish Kumar himself distributed appointment letters. The same man who once said it was not possible is now making bigger promises without any plan,” she said.
RJD Defends Record, Questions NDA’s Credibility
Misa Bharti further criticised Nitish Kumar for failing to address unemployment despite being in power for nearly two decades. “In 20 years as Chief Minister, he did nothing significant for the youth. When our government came, we worked sincerely for their future. The Mahagathbandhan is the only alliance that truly cares about youth and employment,” she asserted.
She also questioned the BJP’s manifesto claims, pointing to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s own statement that “factories cannot be set up in Bihar.” “If Amit Shah himself admits this, how will they create employment? Bihar’s youth don’t need false promises — they need real opportunities, which only the RJD can deliver,” she said.
