Hazaribag, Dec 2: The two minor boys Himanshu and Sanjeev, who went missing on Monday from Canary road in Hazaribag, were found at Ranchi railway station on Thursday. The police said it was the social media which helped them in tracing the duo.

Both boys are cousins as their mothers are sisters. On Monday, they went together to get their cycles repaired but didn’t return. The Korra police came into action after getting information in this regard.

The boys caught a bus and arrived at Booty More in Ranchi where someone identified them after seeing their photographs on social media. He immediately informed the Korra police as a phone number was also circulated with the photograph. At that time, the duo was asking the local residents about how to reach the Ranchi railway station.

On getting information, a team of Korra police led by investigating officer Pravin Kumar reached Ranchi. He checked the CCTV footage installed around Booty More and confirmed the identity of the boys. The railway police were alerted and soon the duo was found at the station.

Korra police station officer-in-charge Uttam Tiwary confirmed the recovery and said the duo has been handed over to their parents.
