Ranchi, Jan 19: Sujit Kumar, the Sudha Dairy engineer, who had been missing for the past 27 days, returned to Ranchi on Wednesday morning.

He was found at Khadgarha bus stand in Ranchi. At present neither he nor the police are ready to talk about the matter. Hence, the reason for his absence is still unclear.

Initial interrogation suggests that Kumar had left without informing anyone. Kumar, meanwhile, visited cities like Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Notably, Kumar had gone to Sudha Dairy Farm at 09:40 am on December 22 to mark his attendance. He had been missing since then.

According to police sources, Kumar was being tracked by the police for more than a week. The police apparently, were aware of the fact that Kumar had been continuously changing locations. During this, the police also had an eye on what he was doing. According to sources, when the police got concrete evidence, they made him come back home.

Police may interrogate Sujit Kumar later in the day. Ranchi SSP SK Jha informed that the truth will come out very soon. Kumar is originally a resident of Targeyar village of Rajauli police station area of Nawada district in Bihar.
