New Delhi, July 4: Two members of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang were detained by the Delhi Police Special Cell on Monday. One of the two shooters who killed Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala was a criminal by the name of Ankit.
Ankit, a criminal, was one of the gunmen who killed Moose Wala on May 29 in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, Punjab. Additionally, he was connected to other brutal murder attempt instances in Rajasthan.
Four of the gunmen in the Sidhu Moosewala case were harboured by the other defendant, Sachin Bhiwani. The two suspects were arrested by the Delhi Police close to Kashmere Gate Bus Stand. They were found to be in possession of two mobile phones with a dongle and a SIM card, a 9 MM bore handgun with ten rounds, a.30 MM bore pistol with nine cartridges, three Punjab Police uniforms, and other items.
Two sharpshooters, Priyavrat Fauji and Kuldeep alias Kashish, were taken into custody by the Delhi Police on June 20 from the Khari-Mithi Road in the Baroi hamlet in Gujarat’s Kutch district. Both of the suspects admitted during their interrogation in custody that they had relocated 58 times following the incident before being apprehended.
According to HGS Dhaliwal, commissioner of the Delhi Police Special Cell, shooters Ankit and Deepak rode in the Bolera with Priyavrat Fauji and Kashish and intercepted Moose Wala’s car from behind while Jagroop and Manpreet Mannu attacked the singer’s car from the front.
