New Delhi, June 13: Pune Rural police have detained a man related to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and listed as a suspect in the murder of Punjabi artist and politician Sidhu Moosewala, officials stated on Monday.
Santosh Jadhav, who shaved his head to modify his appearance, was seized from Mandvi in Gujarat’s Kutch region by one of their squads Sunday night, according to a Pune Rural police official, and his police custody was obtained later.
Jadhav (23) and another Pune resident, Siddhesh Kamble alias Saurav alias Mahakal, were named in the Moosewala murder case last week. The squad also nabbed Navnath Suryavanshi, Jadhav’s aide, who is suspected of being involved in the Sidhu Moosewala case.
On Sunday at midnight, Jadhav and Suryavanshi were brought before a court in Pune and held in police detention till June 20.
