New Delhi, Sep 16: A non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed by the Klinikum der Universität München (LMU Klinikum) in Germany and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to examine possible partnerships in the medical and life sciences disciplines.
In order to advance research, education and innovation in the fields of medicine and healthcare, this agreement establishes the parameters for future collaborative actions.
The Munich, Germany-based LMU Klinikum and the New Delhi-based AIIMS have joined together with the intention of promoting academic and scientific collaborations.
This MOU signifies the start of a potential partnership between two universities that are known for their contributions to healthcare and medical research.
The LMU Klinikum and AIIMS will look into a range of collaboration opportunities, including team research projects, educational exchanges involving students and faculty in the fields of Medicine and Life Sciences and the potential for multi-center clinical trials, research into digital medicine and the application of AI for improvements in the field of medicine. Individual written agreements will be used to formally establish specific research collaborations.
This MOU permits open and fruitful discussions about improving research, teaching learning, as well as any developments in the field of health care.
By signing this MOU, LMU Klinikum and AIIMS reaffirmed their commitment to using international cooperation to advance medical research, patient care and healthcare innovation.
“This agreement lays the foundation for future initiatives that will benefit both institutions and contribute to the global healthcare community,” Dr R Dada said.
