Mumbai, July 4: Anil Ambani’s wife Tina went before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday to be questioned and have her testimony taken as part of an inquiry into possible violations of the foreign exchange law, according to official sources.
Anil Ambani recorded his statement in the case on Monday in accordance with the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), and he would likely return to testify before the federal agency later this week.
The inquiry into the pair focuses on their alleged ownership of various undisclosed assets overseas and related transfer of funds, according to the sources.
