New Delhi, June 13: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to appear before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in the National Herald case on Monday. Several Congress workers were held outside Gandhi’s home just hours before he was to be questioned for protesting the central agency’s decision to summon the MP.
The Gandhis were summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on June 1 in a money-laundering case involving the National Herald-Associated Journals Ltd agreement.
Rahul Gandhi was originally scheduled to testify on June 2, but he requested an extension since he was out of the country. Sonia Gandhi used her time in India to appear as if she was sick with Covid.
