National Voter’s Day Celebration on January 25: Jharkhand Governor to Attend as Chief Guest

Ranchi: The state-level National Voter’s Day celebration will be held on January 25 at Aryabhatta Auditorium, announced Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K Ravi Kumar. Jharkhand Governor has been invited to grace the occasion as the chief guest.

During the event, officials and staff who excelled during the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be honored by the Governor. On Thursday, CEO K Ravi Kumar inspected the venue to ensure smooth conduct of the program.

Instructions for Proper Arrangements

The CEO emphasized the importance of proper arrangements for the successful execution of the event. He directed officials to ensure seamless travel and accommodation for attendees, including district commissioners, officials, and BLOs (Booth Level Officers), who will be recognized for their exemplary electoral performance.

Special arrangements have been made for college students, NSS members, new voters, senior citizens, and specially-abled voters. The CEO instructed officials to provide essential facilities such as drinking water, toilets, and meals for all attendees.

Highlighting Electoral Contributions

Additional CEO Dr. Neha Arora suggested showcasing videos, banners, and other displays to highlight significant electoral achievements and the efforts of BLOs. She also stressed organizing a warm reception for the officials, staff, and BLOs who will be honored.
