Mumbai, Nov 6: NCP leader and cabinet minister Nawab Malik launched another attack on Narcotics Control Bureau officer Sameer Wankhede on Saturday. Malik wrote a post on social media in which he has accused the NCB of kidnapping Aryan Khan. Referring to him as Sameer ‘Dawood’ Wankhede, Nawab Malik said, “I had demanded a SIT probe against Sameer Dawood Wankhede for kidnapping Aryan Khan and demanding ransom. Now two SITs each (Centre and State) have been formed. Let us see who first reveals the hidden secrets of Wankhede and who exposes the private army of Wankhede.”

On Friday, NCB handed over 6 cases including Aryan Khan Drug case to Sanjay Singh, DDG (Operations) of NCB. Now Sameer Wankhede will assist Sanjay Singh in these matters. Earlier it was reported that Wankhede was being sent to Delhi.

However, both Sameer Wankhede and NCB later denied this and said that Wankhede would still continue to be the zonal director of Mumbai and he has not been removed from any investigation. He will help the SIT formed by NCB, which is headed by Sanjay Singh.

Notably, Nawab Malik had made many serious allegations against Sameer Wankhede, which were denied by him. Wankhede also went to the Bombay High Court requesting an interim order for avoiding his arrest. The court on this had ordered the police to inform him  72 hours prior to his arrest. Nawab Malik had also alleged Sameer Wankhede for fake Dalit certificate.
