New Delhi, April 28: Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur of Tesla, has announced a new target: Coca-Cola, after shaking up one of the world’s most important social media platforms by snatching Twitter for $44 billion in a weird hostile takeover on Monday.

Musk, the new owner of Twitter, stated today in yet another odd post that he planned to buy Coca-Cola next to put the cocaine back in.

Soon after, Musk posted a screenshot of a previous tweet where he said “Now I’m going to buy McDonald’s and fix all the ice cream machines,” and jokingly responded to himself with “Listen I can’t do miracles ok”.

Musk’s Twitter notoriety precedes him, dating back to when he bought the firm and is known for his odd outbursts. Musk has surveyed Twitter followers in the past, asking if he should sell 10% of his Tesla stock to pay for unrealized capital gains, after which he sold roughly $7 billion in Tesla stock after over 57 percent of poll participants agreed with his recommendation.

In the weeks leading up to his Twitter takeover, when Musk was only expected to join the board of directors, he tweeted a series of ideas for how to improve the platform, some of which seemed serious — such as the possibility of introducing an edit button — and others of which seemed completely bizarre, such as turning Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters into a homeless shelter.
