NIA raids at 23 places in Andhra Pradesh in connection with PFI case

New Delhi, Sept 18: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted many raids in various districts in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. PFI members have been detained and are being questioned in relation to inciting violence and engaging in unlawful activity.

In the districts of Nizamabad, Kurnool, Guntur, and Nellore, up to 23 NIA teams conducted simultaneous searches.

Sources claim that the operations are connected to knowledge about nearby terrorist activities.

Shadullah, Mohammad Imran, and Mohammad Abdul Mobin, the district convener for the PFI, have already been apprehended by authorities. They are being interrogated for encouraging violent behaviour and engaging in unlawful training under the pretence of teaching karate.
