New Delhi, Feb 18: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids in seven locations in Rajasthan on Saturday in relation to the Popular Front of India (PFI) conspiracy case.
In Sawai Madhopur, Bhilwara, Bundi, and Jaipur districts of Rajasthan, as well as three places in Kota, the agency searched the residential and business properties of the case’s suspects.
The NIA claimed that during the searches, they found digital gadgets, an air rifle, sharp weapons, and damning paperwork.
The case is related to information that PFI’s Sadiq Sarraf, a resident of Rajasthan’s Baran district, and Mohammed Asif, a resident of Kota, together with the officers, members, and cadres of the outlawed organisation, are engaging in illegal operations.
The case was initially registered suo-moto by the NIA on September 19, 2022.
