New Delhi, Aug 2: A second Nigerian man living in Delhi tested positive for monkeypox on Tuesday. This is the eighth case of monkeypox to be reported nationwide and the third in the nation’s capital.
Monkeypox was discovered in a 35-year-old Nigerian guy who lives in Delhi and has never travelled abroad recently. In order to cure the infection, the patient was admitted to LNJP Hospital, a central facility run by the Delhi government. The National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune received his samples, and its analysis revealed favourable findings.
Another monkeypox case was identified in Kerala earlier in the day after a UAE returnee tested positive.
