Nikhat Zareen, Lakshya Sen and 23 others receive Arjuna Awards

New Delhi, Nov 30: President Droupadi Murmu felicitated over 25 Indian athletes at the National Sports Awards 2022 ceremony, held on Wednesday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award, the highest honour in India for a sportsperson, was given to veteran table tennis player Achanta Sharath Kamal, while the Arjuna award was given to over 25 athletes including Badminton players Lakshya Sen, Prannoy HS, Chess player R Praggnanandhaa and Boxer Nikhat Zareen.
