New Delhi, Jan 19: A truck collided head-on with a car in the Mangaon section of the Mumbai-Goa highway in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Thursday, resulting in at least 9 fatalities.
Around five in the morning, the accident happened close to the settlement of Repoli. The vehicle struck the Eeco car as it was travelling in the opposite way, according to the police.

A 4-year-old boy was also injured in the accident while 9 people, including 4 women, died instantly.
The infant was saved with the assistance of the locals after Goregaon police arrived on the scene.
