On Saturday, the subject was brought before Metropolitan Magistrate (MM) Kapil Gupta, however it could not be handled because the relevant magistrate was attending official training.
The court took notice on December 19, 2022, that the complainant’s solicitor had requested additional time to submit a list of witnesses. The complaint is free to submit the necessary paperwork on or before the next hearing date.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s statement, according to Nora’s complaint, damaged her reputation and was made with malice.
In a criminal defamation case, Nora Fatehi claimed she was wronged by Jacqueline Fernandez’s initial defamatory remarks, which were then repeated and disseminated by the other defendants (media outlets), all of whom were cooperating with one another, and that a plot by Fernandez to ensure the financial, social, and personal ruin of the complainant (Fatehi) was hatched and carried out by the said action.
In the defamation lawsuit, Fatehi claimed that Jacqueline also intentionally tried to exonerate herself for her acts in other criminal cases that had nothing to do with the complainant.
It has started to become clear that the aforementioned competitors, who are unable to fairly compete with the complainant in the industry, have begun to try and damage her reputation. This would result in her losing her job and providing new opportunities for her competitors.
The reputation of any individual in the film industry is an asset and any blemish on it would result in severe and permanent harm to their career, according to Nora Fatehi.
