Ranchi: Jharkhand’s 25th Foundation Day celebrations are set to be momentous this year, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren scheduled to inaugurate 70 newly constructed MLA residences in Ranchi during the main ceremony at the Morabadi Football Stadium. The event marks a major milestone in the state’s ongoing efforts to modernize legislative infrastructure and public facilities.
New Residences and Infrastructure Projects
The new MLA quarters have been built to provide improved housing for legislators in the state capital. Once inaugurated, the MLAs will relocate to their new accommodations, and their previous government-allotted houses will be vacated and reallocated. Alongside this, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate around 100 completed projects across various districts, including government buildings, roads, bridges, healthcare centers, and other public development works executed by the Building Construction Department.
New Initiatives and Public Participation
During the grand ceremony, CM Soren is expected to launch several new welfare schemes and lay the foundation stones for upcoming projects aimed at benefiting the citizens directly. A large crowd from across Jharkhand is expected to participate in the celebrations. The district administration is making extensive arrangements, including special bus services, parking facilities, seating arrangements, and enhanced security measures to ensure a smooth event.
