Tel Aviv, Oct 8: Approximately 810 casualties have been reported in both Israel and Palestine in the recent conflict that began following an unprecedented assault initiated by the Palestinian militant organization Hamas on Saturday morning.
According to the most recent figures, Hamas killed over 500 people in Israel, and the Israel Defense Force’s Operation Iron Swords, which was conducted in retaliation, took around 313 lives in Gaza. In total, the death toll now stands at 813.
In southern Israel, a fierce battle between Hamas militants and the Israeli forces is still going on.
According to the most recent report, alarms have been triggered in areas like Sderot and Kibbutz Nir Am due to rocket threats. An Israeli army spokesperson mentioned that the situation is not completely under control.
Israeli airstrikes on Gaza persisted through Sunday morning.
