New Delhi – President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended their warm wishes to the nation on the occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. This revered festival, marked by the grand procession of deities, holds immense significance for devotees worldwide.

In heartfelt messages shared on social media platform X, the President conveyed her greetings in both Odia and Hindi. “I extend my heartiest greetings to all people of our country on the occasion of the world-famous Rath Yatra of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath. Countless Jagannath lovers of the country and the world are eagerly waiting to see three deities on the chariot today,” she expressed.

President Murmu is currently in Odisha and is scheduled to witness the Rath Yatra in Puri this afternoon. She prayed for everyone’s happiness, peace, and prosperity on this joyous occasion.

Prime Minister Modi also shared his blessings through X, saying, “Greetings on the start of the sacred Rath Yatra. We bow to Mahaprabhu Jagannath and pray that His blessings constantly remain upon us.”

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, in a video message, extended his warmest greetings to the people of Odisha, praying for the state’s holistic development and a prosperous future for all.

Additionally, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also sent their wishes to the people of India on this special day.
