PM Modi greets people with victory sign during roadshow in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad , March 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a roadshow in Gujarat on Friday, a day after the BJP won four of the five states that went to polls, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Goa.

As his roadshow began from the airport to Kamalam, the BJP’s state headquarters in Gandhinagar, Modi waved to the crowds in an open car decked with floral garlands. The airport is about 10 kilometres from Kamalam.

At the prime minister’s roadshow, chants like as “Jai Shree Ram, Bharat Mata Ki Jai” were chanted. On both sides of the road, people lined up in enormous numbers to greet Modi. In the car, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and state BJP president C R Paatil were spotted flanking Modi. PM Modi greeted people with victory sign during the roadshow.

The PM will also hold a meeting with the Gujarat BJP leaders at the party office until 1 pm on Friday. On March 12, he will arrive at Rashtriya Raksha University to participate in the convocation ceremony.
