PM Modi has purchased tickets for the Metro in a number of places in the past. According to organisers, the museum depicts the stories of prior Prime Ministers and how they guided the country through various obstacles. While highlighting the journey, it also provides insights of India’s history, beginning with the independence movement.

“The museum on 14 former prime ministers of India has been developed to create awareness about these leaders. It recognises the contributions of all the prime ministers irrespective of their ideology or tenure in office,” said officials quoted by news agency PTI.

A display on the life and contributions of the country’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, is on display at the museum, together with a number of gifts he received from throughout the world, which are being shown for the first time.

The museum’s architecture is inspired by the story of a growing India that was sculpted and reshaped by its rulers. The building’s logo depicts the people of India clutching the ‘chakra’, which signifies the nation and democracy.

Holograms, virtual reality, augmented reality, multi-touch, multi-media, interactive kiosks, computerised kinetic sculptures, smartphone applications, interactive screens, and experiential installations are used by the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya to deliver information in an easy and engaging manner.
