New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the Union Budget 2024, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, emphasizing its inclusive approach. In a video message on Tuesday, Modi stated, “This Budget strengthens every section of society. It takes the country’s poor, village, and farmer on the path of prosperity.”
Highlighting the achievements of the past decade, Modi noted, “In the last 10 years, 25 crore people have come out of poverty. This budget is for the empowerment of the new middle class. The youth will get unlimited opportunities from this budget. Education and skill development will reach new heights with this budget.”
Modi emphasized the comprehensive support the budget provides, particularly for women, small business owners, and MSMEs. “This budget will give power to the new middle class and support women, small businessmen, and MSMEs,” he added.
The Prime Minister underscored the budget’s role in enhancing education and skills, stating, “It will give new strength to the middle class. It has come with strong schemes aimed at strengthening tribals, Dalits, and backward communities. This Budget will help assure financial partnership.”
