Daltonganj, July 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Garhwa-Mahuria 66 km stretch of the doubling project of the railways worth Rs 866 crore on July 12 via virtual mode in addition to the inauguration of Deoghar airport.
The PM will be inaugurating 13 schemes of various ministries like civil aviation, tourism, road transport and highway, railways, 9 petroleum and natural gas, health and family welfare.
He will also be inaugurating an online LPG plant at Bokaro worth little over Rs 93 crores. Similarly, Rs 39 crore worth development of Baba Baidyanath Dham would also be unveiled on that day. All the 13 inaugurations are worth Rs 10,270 crores.
All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Deoghar worth Rs 1103 crore will also be inaugurated by the PM on July 12. He will also be laying foundation stones for as many as 12 projects worth Rs 6,565 crores.
Among the foundation laying stone projects, one is Palamu’s four-laning of Hariharganj to Parwa More worth Rs 1,016 crores. Foundation stone for Rehla-Garhwa bypass road worth Rs 888 crores will also be laid on that day.
Apart from these, capital Ranchi will get an elevated corridor from Kutchery Chowk to Piska More in this foundation stone laying ceremony.
Sources said Additional Chief Secretary of Health Arun Kumar Singh who holds now an additional charge of the chief secretary has geared up his entire civil and police administration to have a flawless programme for Prime Minister Narendra in Deoghar.
In January 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a similar slew of inaugurations and foundation laying stone ceremonies right from the Chiyanki air strip in Daltonganj.
