New Delhi: In the latest edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students across India on Monday, offering practical advice and moral support ahead of exam season. This was the second episode of the 9th edition, conducted in a multi-location format with students from states like Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, and Assam joining in.
Key Messages from PM Modi:
Learn Actively, Practice Regularly
PM Modi emphasized that success isn’t guaranteed by just reading textbooks. He encouraged students to practice by writing regularly, which not only builds confidence but also removes the fear of exams. He stressed that continuous practice transforms pressure into preparation.
Stay Curious, Not Fearful
The Prime Minister advised students to maintain their curiosity for learning, face challenges boldly, and never become slaves to technology. He said students should neither fear nor blindly chase tech, but use it wisely.
Help Others, Learn More
Modi urged students to support weaker classmates, noting that teaching others also strengthens one’s own understanding. “When we help others, we learn deeper,” he said.
Handle Stress with Perspective
Addressing exam stress, he reminded students to recall past experiences: “Even before earlier exams, you felt nervous, but once they ended, everything seemed normal.” Stress is natural, he said, but regular preparation eases it over time.
Observe and Lead by Example
PM Modi encouraged students to adopt a learner’s mindset even while traveling, saying every moment is an opportunity to learn. He also offered a simple tip on leadership — “Be fearless and take initiative. Leadership begins when someone decides to act, even if no one else does.” He illustrated it with the example of picking up trash on the street, showing how one action inspires others.
