On January 31, the first day of the budget session, President Droupadi Murmu addressed both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha in joint session.
Notably, Opposition parties have been criticising the central government harshly during the current budget session due to the Adani issue. The opposition has been calling for an investigation of the accusations made against the Adani group by the Hindenburg firm. As Prime Minister Modi was speaking on Wednesday, members of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Leftist parties, and some Congressmen left the Lok Sabha while waving signs.
