Ranchi: BJP state president Babulal Marandi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes, stating they are transforming the lives of Jharkhand residents. In a social media post, he highlighted initiatives like the “Har Ghar Nal Se Jal Yojana,” which has resolved the state’s water issues, and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which has provided housing for all. Marandi also mentioned that the Ayushman Bharat scheme guarantees free health care up to ₹5 lakh, and the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana ensures free ration to impoverished families, accelerating Jharkhand’s development.

Improvements in Tribal Communities’ Lives

Marandi emphasized that the lives of tribal communities are also changing under PM Modi’s leadership. He reiterated the BJP’s pledge to offer a ₹2,000 monthly allowance to graduates and post-graduates if they form the next government in Jharkhand. “Our goal is to ease the financial burden on students and inspire them to pursue higher education and build their futures,” he added.

He criticized the Hemant Soren government, accusing them of failing to deliver on their promise of providing unemployment benefits to graduates and postgraduates. “It’s been five years, and the youth have received nothing but the pain of unemployment and disrespect,” Marandi said.

Loot and Lies Will End with Votes: Amar Bauri

Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri, in a post on X, said, “Loot and lies will end through votes!” He expressed concern over the worsening situation in Santhal Pargana, where issues like land jihad and love jihad have drastically changed the region’s demographics. “The people of Santhal Pargana are sitting on a powder keg, and neither the Chief Minister, MPs, nor ministers have spoken a word about it. For a few votes, JMM-Congress-RJD leaders are turning a blind eye to this crisis,” Bauri added.
