New Delhi, March 31: In numerous regions of the nation on Thursday, fighting between parties broke out during a Ram Navami parade, putting a stop to the celebrations. Violence broke out during the Ram Navami parade in Munger, Bihar, and 200 unidentified individuals have been named in a complaint. It has been claimed that offensive language was used as the procession approached the Hazratganj Mohalla neighbourhood.
On Wednesday, there was a dispute regarding a Ram temple in Aurangabad, Maharashtra; on Thursday, there was a violent altercation during which a police team was attacked and some of their vehicles were set ablaze. 500 people have had cases filed against them, and seven people have been jailed.
After fights between two factions during the Ram Navami celebrations, violence and arson were reported from the Howrah region of West Bengal. Many vehicles were set on fire and local shops were destroyed. One person was reported dead and several others were injured in a new altercation in Bengal’s Dalkhola, setting off a political spat between the TMC in power and the BJP.
Conflicts broke out when a Ram Navami procession arrived at a mosque on Baaguru Road in Hassan, Karnataka. Four Hindu males were fatally stabbed.
